Ventilated Roof

IP Enclosures provide a range of ventilated roofs for steel and aluminium electrical enclosures. Ventilated Roofs are designed to suit standard wall-mounted electrical enclosures, and are designed to enable ventilation devices to be fitted into the roof of an enclosure. They are provided with louvre vents around the perimeter to assist with ventilation while maintaining IP protection.

Ventilated Roofs – Powder Coated Steel

Steel ventilated roofs are fabricated using galvanised steel sheet and powder coated with a textured RAL7035 finish to 80-120 micron average thickness. Coloured steel ventilated roofs including T33 Smoke Blue are also available. Refer to Electrical Enclosure Colours. Ventilated roofs incorporate encapsulated nutserts. An EPDM gasket and fasteners are included.

Ventilated Roofs – Marine Grade Aluminium

Aluminium ventilated roofs are fabricated using marine grade aluminium sheet and powder coated with a textured RAL7035 finish to 80-120 micron average thickness. Coloured aluminium ventilated roofs including T33 Smoke Blue are also available. Aluminium ventilated roofs incorporate encapsulated nutserts. An EPDM gasket and fasteners are included.
